To determine the linen you will need for a serviced accommodation/holiday let, you will generally require the following items for each bed:
1. Sheets: Two sets of fitted or flat sheets for each bed. This allows for one set to be used while the other is being laundered.
2. Pillowcases: Two pillowcases for each pillow on the bed. If each bed has two pillows, you’ll need four pillowcases for each bed.
3. Duvet covers: One duvet cover for each bed. The size will depend on the bed sizes in your holiday let.
4. Duvets: One duvet for each bed, appropriately sized for the bed.
5. Pillows: Two pillows for each person the bed accommodates. So, for a 3-bed holiday let, if each bed sleeps two people, you’ll need 12 pillows in total.
6. Mattress protectors: It’s a good idea to have mattress protectors for each bed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
7. Towels: Provide at least two bath towels, two hand towels, and two washcloths per person staying in the holiday let. This will allow for a fresh set while the used ones are being washed.
8. Kitchen towels: Depending on the amenities of your holiday let, you may want to provide a few kitchen towels for drying dishes or general cleaning.
Remember to consider the size of the beds in your holiday let when purchasing bedding items. Additionally, it’s always a good idea to have a few extra sets available in case of emergencies or to accommodate any additional guests.
